Description
Our Felix 13â was lengthened to 15â and the beam increased to accommodate batteries for electric power and now this design has been lengthened a further 12â and the beam increased by 6â and the hull depth also increased so that she may accommodate an aft saloon.
This new Felix now has the ability to take 2 in comfort for over-night stays or to be fitted out without the saloon as a work launch or small fishing boat. Construction is in strip plank and the machinery arrangement shows an electric motor but she could of course take steam or diesel power.
The plans now include the modified moulds etc for a schooner bow version of the Felix 16. The schooner bow adds 680mm (2'3") to the length of the hull. (see below)
