Description
For those wanting an elegant traditional looking launch to go with their steam plant but which is relatively quick to build. Rose has a ‘V’ bottomed plywood hull which uses stitch and epoxy methods. Her construction can be light weight using 6mm ply or heavy duty using 2 layers of 5 or 6mm ply. She has a displacement of 890 kg to the DWL, which with a heavy construction of 250 kg allows her to carry good sized bunkers and at least 6 people. The drawings also show panel shapes for a smaller lighter version with the same length but a beam of 5’. LOD 15’3’’: Beam 6’2‘‘(or 5’); Draft 1’9’’.
