These are the best fids we have ever used. I found out about them from Michael Storer when he was visiting after Sail Oklahoma. He was making some videos demonstrating making eyes in 12 strand Spectra and asked for one of these Selma fids. We did not have them then but we do now.
We now have a set of 5 fids available in a convenient storage tube. This set saves you $$ over the prices of the fids bought individually.
Part of the secret to these clever tools is the barb in the back end that holds the line in the fid while you thread the line in and out.
These fids are extremely well made of stainless steel and are suitable for use with not only 12 strand line, but 3 strand and even double braid as well.
