Description
If you want to install a Sea-Lect TruCourse Rudder on your boat and it does not have a standard mounting gudgeon, you will need the appropriate gudgeon. Study the photos and diagrams below to determine which model you need.

In the photo below, you can see how the rudder fits in the Flat Transom Gudgeon assembly. The two parts are mounted on our Imresboat as shown with four #8 round or pan head screws.
In the next photo a Pointed Stern Gudgeon is mounted on a typical production kayak (in this case a Phoenix Isere). The tangs on these parts are somewhat flexible so that adjustments can be made at the time you install the gudgeon on your boat.
