If you want to make a bimini out of square tubing or even square hardwood, you can use these fittings. Use the regular hinges. The square end cap fits 7/8" inside square tubing - 1" x 1" outside tubing dimensions.
Most biminis have a point where a hoop hinges open or folds up flat. (See image below) These Jaw Slides do just that.
