Injection Molded Nylon. The reason we are offering these singly rather than as a pair is that they would be ideal, I think, to mount on a transom for a sculling oar. The socket is heavily built and quite strong. It will work with any of the oarlocks we sell that have 1/2" shafts, except the hot dipped galvanized ones
