Description
10-1/2 feet simple cruiser sailboat for one to three, design for protected or inlands waters.
My brother "Samy" wanted to build a small river sailing boat. He likes the simplicity of an open boat but he also wants to sleep on board in a shelter. So I designed the Scow 320 with a simple sprit sail, which can be set as a tent at night on hoop frames. She has one main central long keel and two bilge skegs to sit upright.
Only – 3-1/2 sheets of ACX 5/16 or 3/8 plywood are required. I recommend using epoxy, without glass fiber, on the bottom of the hull, chines and all edges. The plans detail all the dimensions of the parts, the parts nesting on plywood sheets, and a complete building sequence in 3D.
