Rose 17'9" Launch Supplement

Note: This supplement lets you use the Rose 15'3" plans to build a 17' 9" version described below. You need the Rose 15" 3' plans as well as this supplement.

For those wanting an elegant traditional looking launch to go with their steam plant but which is relatively quick to build. Rose has a ‘V’ bottomed plywood hull which uses stitch and epoxy methods. Her construction can be light weight using 6mm ply or heavy duty using 2 layers of 5 or 6mm ply. She has a displacement of 890 kg to the DWL, which with a heavy construction of 250 kg allows her to carry good sized bunkers and at least 6 people.
