Description
This steam launch has been designed for a client in South Africa and will be used for educational trips in an area of great natural beauty. She is a development of our Edwardian range and uses strip plank construction techniques on computer faired mould shapes.
Power comes from a 15 h.p. steam plant although she can accommodate both electric and internal combustion engines. The layout is divided roughly equally between a saloon which has a settee dining area, galley and w.c. and a forward open cockpit area. The layout may be changed to suit. Both air draft and water draft have been kept to a minimum to extend her inland cruising capability.
