Description
*Full size templates are in .pdf format. They need to be printed on a plan printing machine. Most cities have plan printing shops that can do this for you, alternatively, you may know a local architect, or engineer who could print the templates for you at a reasonable price.
Ace Templates
The 'Ace' is a 12'4" runabout which was designed in the mid 1950's by William Jackson. From 1956 to 1962 the Sande Boat Works, near Belfair, Washington built a longer version, called the 'Sande Ace'.
The original plans for the Ace are available to download on the Svenson website: http://svensons.com/boat/?p=RunaboutsOutboard/Ace
The Sande Ace website is here: http://www.sandeace.com/
I built my Ace from the original plans in 2008. To save time I drew the frames and major components in Autocad to print off full size as cutting templates.
For anyone interested in building an Ace I've made the template drawings available to download here, in both pdf and Autocad .dwg format.
