Ever wanted a great looking SUP that you can be proud of and which out-performs many mass produced boards? Not willing to spend big money on a top quality board?

The T-Rex 11ft Stand up Paddleboard is the perfect all-round board that you can build yourself!. Unlike many DIY paddle boards, the T-Rex is suitable for both flat water and surf paddling. My experience building and riding surfboards as well as designing and building boats has helped me create a uniquely capable and versatile board.

A huge 250 litre volume, and unique chined rail design gives exceptional stability and glide in flat water while providing enough performance to have a lot of fun in small to medium sized surf.

 

The T-Rex is suitable for riders of all skill levels, even absolute beginners. After riding production boards, you will immediately notice just how much more stable this board is and how quickly it moves through the water.

 

Built from 3mm plywood using the stitch and tape method, the T-Rex can be built by anyone with reasonable DIY skills. Anyone who has built small boats before should find this build quite simple.

 

The fibreglass over foam rails offers builders the option of shaping the rails to suit their own riding style or conditions. A unique feature among DIY boards. If you are not confident creating your own rail shape, just stick to the plans for a great all-round performer.

 

Plans are now available for download and included is a 14 page A2 plan book with step by step by step instructions and full size rail shaping templates.

 

Full size cut templates for the plywood panels are now also available, and make cutting out the plywood panels accurately a breeze!
