These covers are designed to be quickly and easily deployed as shade canopies in small sailboats. They're made from an acrylic-coated polyester cover fabric with a urethane coating on one side for water resistance. The fabric has excellent strength, tear and abrasion resistance, dimensional stability, as well as UV and mildew resistance. When deployed, the cover can be supported by the boom, either on top or tied beneath, and lashed forward and aft with grommets at midpoints and corners for sturdy, stable protection from sun and rain.
