Build Your Own traditional 15′ Norwegian pram Using Our Easy-to-understand, Downloadable Boat Plans

This 15′ Norwegian pram is, like the larger version, extremely stable at sea. It has the same qualities as the 17′ version but is smaller and will be faster to build. It will not load as much but will be fine for 3 adults.

The sloop rig with sprit mainsail (a type of sail with the most power for the shortest spar) is efficient and gives the boat extra speed – perfect for handling the spar buoys in harbor or out at sea. The rig is extremely easy to handle – even if you’ve never sailed before.
