Description
The Marathon series of open canoes started with the Marathon 18 which was designed as a fast long distance canoe for a crew of 2 who would use her to race and portage around locks etc - so good straight line speed and light weight were essential. Following the 18 footer a 20 footer was developed.
This latest addition to the Marathon series is 15' long with a beam of 33 1/2" and an overall weight of approximately 48lbs. She retains the same asymmetric hull design with a fine entry and fuller sections aft to help prevent squatting.
