Description
This craft which is based upon the Highlander 18, has been developed for a client in Australia specifically for trailing across rough terrain in order to explore out of the way creeks and rivers which would otherwise be difficult to get to. She has room to sleep 2 or 4 in comfort under a cubby and boom tent. Construction is by simple ply/epoxy and stitch and tape methods and the basic hull can be adapted to take on many different roles. 17’6’’x 5’4’’, weight excluding water ballast 750 lbs Draft is approx. 9’’ with the centreboard up, 3’7’’ with it down.
