FISHBORN

Greetings to all fans of water recreation!

We bring to your attention a CarTop boat called “Fishborn”.

“Fishborn” is a boat for a lone fisherman, with a shelter from bad weather, and even overnight accommodation, with waterproof lockers and the ability to carry it with the efforts of one person. It can be delivered to the water both on the roof of a car or on a bicycle trailer. In the latter case, the bicycle can be taken on board. Thus, even a multi-day tourist route is possible, with the possibility of returning on a bicycle with a boat on a trailer. Of course, the boat can, and even should, be used as a sailboat. Then it is similar to a PD-racer with a cabin, but somewhat specific: its bottom has the shape of the letter "W" (almost Hickman contours) - this is greater stability of the boat, greater strength of the bottom, convenience of pulling to the shore (or on to the ice :)), maybe more stable of the course (ribs of the bottom work as skegs)

The rectangular shape of the case in plan provides maximum capacity with a minimum size. It is also important that the largest parts of the boat fit on a standard sheet of plywood (1250x2550mm) without splicing. Window glass are cut from a rectangular piece of monolithic polycarbonate with minimal trimmings (waste, offcut).

Hermetic main hatch, in the open position, forms the back of a person's chair, for comfortable fishing for many hours. The boat is equipped with three waterproof lockers accessible from the cockpit. The central locker is equipped with a kitchen, although it can be used for other purposes. The hatch locking element can be transformed into a ramp for transporting a bicycle. All over the boat there are pockets for small items, which any fisherman has in abundance.

The boat can be used on rivers and lakes, as well as in the coastal zone of the seas. The unsinkability of the boat is ensured by closed hermetic lockers and the tightness of the main hatch.

About the plans: All Fishborn drawings are a collection of folders with pdf files of drawings of individual elements of the boat. A total of 18 folders. I tried to make all drawings as informative as possible, without unnecessary text. Also, in each folder there is a DWG file for cutting plywood.

Fishborn has not been built yet. I just finished the drawing. There is no text manual. It seems to me that everything is clear in my plans even without text.
