15′ two-seater day-tripper canoe building plans

Small enough to load on top of a car, but large enough to seat two adults as well as a picnic basket or other essential equipment, these two-seater canoe building plans are perfect for anyone who wants to enjoy a day fishing or just splashing around on the water with a friend.

You don’t need any boat-building experience to build this boat – just lift the dimensions from the plans and transfer them directly onto the plywood sheets. The plans allow you to draw full size pictures of the parts of the boat – the bottom pieces, side pieces etc. Once you’re done, simply cut around the lines using a jigsaw, then use the stitch and glue building method to finish your boat.
