Build Your Own 11′ Dinghy-Vee Using Our Easy-to-understand Downloadable Boat Plans

The 11′ Dinghy-Vee is in every way a beginners boat. You will have a boat that is stable, sails well and is grateful to sail. But don’t make the mistake thinking it will be boring to sail this boat – it will not.

The building will be very easy. The design is special developed so the curvature of the plywood is kept to a minimum. Yet the boat is still looks like a boat and not a box.

You can use many different means of propulsion for the boat. You can row, sail with a small outboard engine or build a sail rig for the boat. The plans come with details on how to build this boat and arrange it with both an outboard engine and a sail rig.

Here you get two designs in one. You can build the boat and use your outboard for a start and then later on build your sail rig and use the same boat with sail. So the boat is flexible and will serve you well for many years – you will always be able to fit the boat the way that suits you best for the moment.

With only 5 sheets of plywood this dinghy is very affordable to build. So for a great quiet day on the lake enjoying the water – this dinghy will make your day worth remembering.
