Description
Two boats on the same basis: a junk-rig pocket cruiser and a more traditional cutter.
15 foot sailboat for three overnight, designed for protected, inland, and coastal waters.
A more complex design with a two chine hull and a flat bottom.
14 sheets of ACX 3/8" plywood.
I recommend using epoxy, without glass fiber, on the bottom of the hull, chines and all edges.
The plans detail all the part dimensions for both models, the parts nesting on plywood sheets, a complete building sequence in 3D and some detail pictures.
The junk rig sail is a major part of the design, with a hinged batten system that improves performance to windward.
