Description
Kestral is a beautiful 15' Peapod type craft with four planks per side. The drawings give the plank shapes for simple stitch and epoxy construction but she could either be strip planked or built using the clinker ply method. She would make a very efficient rowing boat without the sail and she can carry 3 or 4 adults easily. For sailing we have given her a very simple sprit rig which can be mounted and demounted quickly. She uses 6 sheets of 5 or 6mm plywood and half a sheet of 12mm ply (for the sailing version).
