Note: These plans consist of four basic pages of instructions and a 2x3' drawing sheet with basic layout and a table of offsets. It's not really a beginner project. It was the basis for the Portage Pram Kit that we used to sell here and which you can now purchase at Kitboats.com.
Here is a sample from the instruction sheet:
"Loft boat on 4'x8" sheet on plywood painted white. Fasten bottom to strongback with screws 8" aft and fwd. of station 3, 8" fwd. of station 2, and 8½" fwd. of station 1. Use blocks to spread out purchase of screws. Teak blocks for oarlock sockets are screwed from rubrail into blocks and require (4) 1" #10s. Sheer strake laps vary from 1½" at bow to 1 3" at stern. If intense skulling is intended increase depth of skull port ½". Enjoy your building!"
