Bolger 59
59 sq ft Leg-O'-Mutton sprit mainsail for Bolger Gypsy, Teal, Brick, June Bug, Cartopper and many others
- Cross cut panels in 4oz white dacron (unless specified 4 ozTanbark)
- Option for vertical brailed reef in luff: a row of grommets is sewn into a reinforced strip ~18 " aft of the luff and is pulled tight to the mast by a continuous line (see drawing below)
- 4-layer reinforcement patches
- Sewn reinforcement on all edges of white sails; sewn reinforcement on luff and/or laced edges and folded/sewn hems at other edges of Tanbark sails
- Lacing grommets on luff
- #4 nickel spur grommets at corners and reef tack and clew, #1 nickel spur grommets at intermediate reef ties and laced edges
- Wide, 3-step zig-zag stitching on all seams, patches, hems and edges
