Description
This 28' LOA launch is based on the 30' Amaryllis and has the same sweet wineglass transom and well rounded bow with firm bilges. She has been designed as an open launch with an aft cockpit with an athwartships steering wheel position right beside the engine for easy control of both by one person. From the steering position the layout is open allowing a walk through to the forward cockpit. She is of a size which could be fitted out in a number of ways and could include an aft cabin arrangement.
Standard construction is for strip planking which can be glass sheathed or veneered. The design was drawn up for a client in Oregon and uses an Alex Ritchie 15 IHP unit swinging a 24" propeller.
