Description
This version of the Skylark class of pram dinghies was at the request of a client who wanted a comfortable river boat with the simplicity of construction of the smaller Skylark stitch and tape dinghies and with the large size that a pram shape of this length can afford. The original was for use on the great canal system of the Eastern seaboard of the USA. The drawings show a simple closed cubby/cabin. The outboard is in a well and there is plenty of stowage space for fishing and camping gear. Depending on how you fit her out, construction is based upon 8 sheets of 3/8’’ (9mm) ply and all the hull panel shapes are given on the drawings. LOA 15’6’’; Beam 6’: Draft approx. 10’’ and approx. wht. 350 lbs.
