12'6" Bore Surf Kayak Plans

The 12'6" Bore Surf Kayak has been specifically designed to ride the famous River Severn Bore and also the surf on the Cornish and Devon coast-line.
 Construction is light weight stitch and tape using 4mm plywood. The hull is built first with the bulkheads/frames and when finished the deck panels are added with their outside seams taped so that the deck can be removed as a unit, finished on the inside and then glued to the hull.
 The photos are of the Mark 1 version which was tweaked with slightly narrower bow and stern - the plans are for this Mark 2 version but the Mark 1 hull panel and frame shapes are still available - contact Selway Fisher Design if you want them.
